Holy Trinity Church, Waterford
Restoration
We carried out extensive restoration work to the Portland stone pediment of Holy Trinity Church in Waterford. In addition to extensive repair works, limbs, swords and wings were carved by Leinster Stone and grafted back on to the façade and later shelter coated to protect further from the elements. A lot of this work had to be done on site so the vast majority was carried out using a hammer and chisel to seamlessly run in the new stone with the old. The Rt Rev Gerry Langford worked alongside C.J. Falconer architects on this project.
